MUNCIE–late in the evening, after Laura Romano and her husband Anthony put their children to bed, two Maine natives gathered for a little quality time.
They meet every night at one of the rooms in their homes and shut the door. Then, they see each other in the eye and make one for not-so-famous move in Muncie.
They hit the books and kept their evening “mandatory study halls.”
“I am working on my Ph.d. in the United Kingdom at Ball State University and Anthony’s work on a master’s degree in public relations, but it’s great to get this work done together,” said Laura Romano. “Talk to each other about the article that we’ve read … as we have come full circle, the way we were in college. Plus, it shows our children the importance of working hard and following your dreams. “
